Not had a decent update in a while but since i’m back in the land of the living here goes…
so this is a week of gigs. Sunday in the cathouse then monday in the doghouse seeing a couple of bands. First was save your breath, they were awesome and done a wicked cover of a sugababes track. i generally like bands who look like they are having a good time and bounce about and they were doing that in abundance. The main ones were attack attack who were pretty cool but their guitarit/bassist (i was up the back so couldn’t really see what he was playing) was majorly doing my head in. He appears to have a pete wentz complex and i spent most of the gig wanting to give him a smack just to shut his smug face up. so unfortually he totally ruined it for me. So will no be checking them out again and as i say a pity cos their sound is pretty good.
Tuesday was a cinema trip to see let the right one in. It was pretty good, totally dispairing of the hollywood remake though, don’t do it!! I still find it ironic i’ve seen more swedish language films in the uk than i did in sweden :)
tomorrow is cobra starship, friday is we the kings which i cannot wait for, and then on sunday it’s down to leeds for slam dunk. it’s going to be epic. fact.
back on the diet properly from today, went to fat club last night and it’s the work’s weigh day tomorrow so we shall see how that goes. my foot is still knackered so the gym is still ruled out, i miss it! but back at the docs tomorrow so we shall see what she says.
